After suffering an injury that left me with two herniated discs at L4 and L5, my life changed overnight. For more than a month, I barely slept. By elevating my head and legs, I was finally able to find a position that relieved pressure on my lower back. For the first time in over a month, I slept through the night without waking up in pain. The next morning was something I will never forget. I got out of bed without the sharp pain shooting down my right leg. I was able to walk more comfortably and move with greater confidence. It felt like my body had finally been given the support it needed to begin healing. What impressed me most about the Ergo Smart Split Base was how customizable it is. This mattress Smart Base is the finest I've ever experienced. It has total flexibility with positions, advanced waveform massage therapy, and even a beautiful remote. The soundscape mode that lets you play nature sounds and music through the beds speakers are immersive and relaxing. If you want to sleep deeper and rejuvenate your body, this is the frame for you. I will also add that the white glove delivery service was incredibly easy and professional.

We had a ~2018 Tempur-Pedic base that we really liked, but this 2025 Ergo ProSmart is much better! We love that they considered lumbar, zero gravity, TV, and sleep positions, as well as Bluetooth speaker. The affixed mattress holder is great too. My previous model did not have that so the holder would slide all over the place, so we stopped using it. I really cannot think of anything else they could do with this base to make it better, but I just got it, so we'll see. I think this is really going to help my back and my sleep!

We use this with our Split King Tempurpedic mattresses. They are so handy if you are sick or hurt and very comfortable for reading, working on a laptop, and watching tv. Easy to use and comes with three different options of leg heights.
